Spain's Queen Sofia begins three-day official visit to Cape Verde

afrol News / A Semana, 3 April - Queen Sofia of Spain arrived at 4:40 pm this afternoon at Praia International Airport. Cape Verde’s First Lady Adélcia Pires and Minister of Foreign Affairs Victor Borges were present to welcome the representative of the Spanish court, who made no declarations upon her arrival.

Queen Sofia will attend a meeting today with representatives of the Spanish Cooperation Agency at the residence of the kingdom’s honorary consul in Praia.

Tomorrow, April 4, Queen Sofia will travel to Cidade Velha, where she will visit a number of tourist attractions and historical sites restored by the Spanish Cooperation Agency’s technical staff.
