TACV to begin direct Praia-Paris route on July 5

afrol News / A Semana, 6 June - The first direct flight between the Cape Verdean and French capitals will take place on July 5, 2006. The flight will be operated by TACV Cabo Verde Airlines.

The flight will take place once a week on Wednesdays.

Paris will be the second European capital, after Lisbon, with direct flights from Praia. Praia’s new international airport opened in September of 2005 after years of delays.
