afrol News, 16 April - A plane carrying 46 passengers, including the Senegalese President, Abdoulaye Wade and 12 of his ministers, was forced to make an emergency landing in Spain on Saturday after the flight had problem with its cockpit window. Also on board the flight were eight crew members.

President Wade and his entourage had to wait for several hours before they boarded another flight from Casablanca, Morocco to continue their journey to Dubai.

Officials of the United Arab Emirates confirmed the safe arrival of Mr Wade and his entourage in their country. The Senegalese President was received by the UAE Minister of Education, Dr Hanif Hassan.

President Wade would hold talks with the UAE leader, Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, on cooperation between the two countries in all areas and ways that benefit the citizens of both countries.
