Son charged with killing Cameroonian diplomat

afrol News, 14 August - The son of a Cameroonian diplomat has been charged with murdering his father in London.

Kitts Mbeboh, 60, the second councillor for cultural affairs at the Cameroon High Commission was Sunday found stabbed in his west London home.

The diplomat was rushed to the hospital where he had succumbed to death. Post-mortem examination confirmed that he died of a single stab wound.

Metropolitan police in London soon arrested and questioned a 28-year-old man on suspicion of murdering Mr. Mbeboh. Beza Mbeboh was later confirmed to be the assassinated diplomat's son. He appeared at Ealing Magistrates Court in west London on Wednesday. A judge ordered him detained until he faces a pre-trial hearing on October 27.
