Africa | World Politics | Economy - Development Multi-national lenders offer $15 billion for Africa's crisis recovery afrol News, 12 May - Africa's trade and financial sector will get a bailout injection to the tune of US$ 15 billion from international lenders after an agreement was signed today at the African Development Bank's (AfDB) meeting in Dakar, Senegal, yesterday.Making the announcement in a joint statement, the lenders, which include the AfDB, the French Development Agency, the European Investment Bank, the Development Bank of Southern Africa and the World Bank, said the loan facility will cover the continent over the next two to three years to help it get over the impact of the global economic crisis.
